I’m thrilled to be attending the Art of Hosting Beyond the Basics this September, with Chris Corrigan, Caitlin Frost, Tuesday Ryan-Hart and Tim Merry and a room full of engaged practitioners from around the world.
Here is more from their invitation:
Join us for a three-day intensive dive into the next level of process hosting, change work and participatory leadership. The scope, complexity and scale of work we are being asked to engage with continues to grow.
Now is the time to gather, take a breath and learn together. We will be learning advanced process design, hearing stories of iterative long term strategic interventions, experiencing our own limits as leaders, exploring the dynamics of working with power and exploring cutting edge change theory. Find out more.
What is the learning you need to move your work in the world to the next level of depth and breadth?
REGISTER SOON – we have limited space for this retreat location on beautiful Bowen Island, BC (20 minute ferry ride from West Vancouver, 90 minutes from the Vancouver International airport). Check out our blog posts from the team and recent participants.
And more from their website…
This is a 3 day retreat for seasoned leaders and audacious change makers. The questions at the heart of this learning journey are:
- How can we sustain depth with the increasing scale, breadth and complexity of our work?
- How can shifting our understanding of power redefine how we engage in change?
- How can we practice friendship as a critical strategic pillar for societal transformation?
Is this training for you? Join us if…
- You are a seasoned leader, facilitator or change agent engaged in questions of depth, breadth and/or scale.
- You have attended and Art of Hosting or two and are looking for a ‘next level’ learning and experience
Your suitability for this training is not about age or job title or the size of your organization. It is about your level of engagement with questions around deepening and stretching your existing leadership to meet the challenges of our changing world. You may be a young person with on the ground leadership experience, deep passion and curiosity about the next level of your work, or you might be a senior leader with many years of experience under your belt.
